The main issue about the elephant is the trade of ivory.
Currently, the demand for ivory is really high in China and it often goes more than the value of the gold it is the reason why the elephants are so valuable for some people. The meaning of severe poverty in Africa the person can take a month wage or more from the single ivory and sell it in the international markets.
The ride of an elephant can be fun for the human being and they enjoy as well but it is not fun but cruelly with animals who can’t even speak about their pain. The rides can give you a lot of fun and enjoyment but don’t forget that it can give them injury and put them into the danger. Today, on the occasion of World Elephant Day, let’s take a pledge that we will not do anything that can harm these animals and would not put their lives in danger.
